Day Two

Day Two The sun begins to rise and cool morning comes. Early in the morning, there is a low mist coming from the forest but it isn't anything strange considering the environment. However, combined with how quiet it is. . . it does look kind of creepy. Fortunately, as the day goes on, it gets warmer and brighter. The mist dissipates and the birds begin to call out. The first few people to wake up might notice some things have moved around while they were asleep. The pots and pans that were left outside have been moved several feet away. Several bottles of water are missing from the cases and can be found scattered around the sand. The spring is calm and peaceful. It is quiet but not too quiet like it was last night. Status Weather: Sunny, clear, and very warm with a light breeze. Electronics: It is impossible to get any sort of reception on the beach. Any nation will a cell phone will wake up to find a message from the United Nations. Some nations might receive the same message more than once. It looks like someone tried to send the message multiple times to make sure it went through. Message: "do not make him angry again" Magic: Magic is not always effective today. For every five times you cast a spell, it might not work once. Otherwise, everything is normal. Animals: Normal on the beach. Any pets that go into the woods will stay close to their owners. Pets will become upset around the spring and staying around too long will result in the pets leaving for the beach. ???: Several bottles of water are missing from camp. They can be found scattered in the sand. The entrance to Tent Four was left open over night. The pans and pots have been moved. Day Two | Night Two Day 3 will go up 6 June

[He can't really see why someone would want to be that separated from society though. At least unless they were hiding something. Latvia starts to shiver a little, having successfully creeped himself out]

I'm sure they can't want to be left alone that badly if they let us vacation here.

Wait, what if they have some kind of bargain with the world's governments?

What if he's trying to buy them off for doing something really terrible?

[balzams]

They're rich and eccentric!

[vytis]

I'm sure they're perfectly friendly!

[balzams]

Yeah, telling us to stay away unless it's an emergency screams friendly.

[vytis]

...Would you want some of them bothering you at all hours of the day? [Gesturing with his head back toward the beach at the other nations.]

[balzams]

[He hates to admit it but Lithuania's right]

I guess not...

They could at least say hello or something though.

Or let us use their bathroom.

We might still see them. This is only the second day.

[balzams]

I suppose so...

You promise they'll be friendly though?

[vytis]

I'm sure they'll be polite.

[Not exactly promising friendliness, but he can't promise that.]

[balzams]

At least the view from up here is good but...

Aah, it's way too hot up here!

[Taking off his rucksack he pulls his shirt off. He isn't impressed at all with the lack of shade]

[vytis]

Did you bring sunscreen? [Fussing is just force of habit, really.] We could climb back down, if you want.

[balzams]

It's fine, it's fine.

[No, he didn't]

I still need to get a picture anyway.

[Taking his phone out he starts to mess around with it. He forgot to bring a camera so this'll have to do]

[vytis]

Don't blame me if you get a sunburn.

[Ducking out of the way of Latvia's view.]

[balzams]

I told you, I'll be fine.

[He furrows his brow a little as he focuses on the screen]

Hey, can you help me with this? How do I get it to not be so... blue?

[Unlike his northern neighbor, Latvia isn't exactly the most adept when it comes to technology]

[vytis]

[Honestly Lithuania isn't the best with technology, either. He peers at the phone over Latvia's head.]

Did you try changing the lighting settings?

[balzams]

No? What's that?

[vytis]

Right there, I think? [He points to one of the settings in the options menu.]

[balzams]

So that's what it does...

[After a bit of clicking around he seems to have corrected the problem but he struggles a bit with the very small buttons]

Okay, that should-

[Just as he's about to save the picture he loses his grip on the phone. It bounces off the cliff edge and tumbles down the rock face, breaking apart as it falls]

-Fuck!

[vytis]

Ah! [Lithuania winces as he watches the phone drop. At least it wasn't Latvia going with it.] ...I don't think there's any way we can fix that here.

[balzams]

[Latvia watches over it forlornly from the edge]

He's going to be really angry if he finds out I broke it...

[vytis]

Maybe if you get a new one as soon as you get back, no one will notice? Our phones don't work here half the time, anyway.

[balzams]

That... that sounds good.

If he asks about the pictures I'll just tell him he shouldn't have confiscated my alcohol.
