Day Two

Day Two The sun begins to rise and cool morning comes. Early in the morning, there is a low mist coming from the forest but it isn't anything strange considering the environment. However, combined with how quiet it is. . . it does look kind of creepy. Fortunately, as the day goes on, it gets warmer and brighter. The mist dissipates and the birds begin to call out. The first few people to wake up might notice some things have moved around while they were asleep. The pots and pans that were left outside have been moved several feet away. Several bottles of water are missing from the cases and can be found scattered around the sand. The spring is calm and peaceful. It is quiet but not too quiet like it was last night. Status Weather: Sunny, clear, and very warm with a light breeze. Electronics: It is impossible to get any sort of reception on the beach. Any nation will a cell phone will wake up to find a message from the United Nations. Some nations might receive the same message more than once. It looks like someone tried to send the message multiple times to make sure it went through. Message: "do not make him angry again" Magic: Magic is not always effective today. For every five times you cast a spell, it might not work once. Otherwise, everything is normal. Animals: Normal on the beach. Any pets that go into the woods will stay close to their owners. Pets will become upset around the spring and staying around too long will result in the pets leaving for the beach. ???: Several bottles of water are missing from camp. They can be found scattered in the sand. The entrance to Tent Four was left open over night. The pans and pots have been moved. Day Two | Night Two Day 3 will go up 6 June

[He's wearing a horrible t-shirt and sweatpants, too. Because what's the point of dressing for the day if he's only just making breakfast. He looks up when Portugal speaks.]

Did you sleep well?

Ah, sim, eventually. [ She pauses to stretch a little. ] You?

Sit and eat if you're hungry.

[He frowns thoughtfully.]

The tent was unzipped this morning. I thought I heard someone leave.

[sheshipsit]

[ She's about to sit, but when he says that last bit, she becomes a little distracted from any thought of food. She frowns faintly. ]

That's not likely. I already zipped it back up again once last night and all of us were in bed already.

Somebody unzipped it a fraction and then just... Left. I thought it must have been one of the others. [ Siesta tent mainly. because they're more likely to be drunk and confused enough to get the wrong tent. ]

[Already making her a plate. Old habits die hard.]

Well, someone unzipped it again. I don't think it was India...

[sheshipsit]

[ She doesn't object to that. ] Me neither.

It was a little... Unsettling to be honest. Just silence and then the zip started moving very slowly and it kept catching on the fabric or something I think.

[ She then shakes her head stubbornly. ] Ah, I'm probably over-thinking things.

[zhongguo]

[Offering the plate, and sitting opposite her, regarding her thoughtfully.]

You don't think it could be spirits?

[sheshipsit]

[ Pause. She takes the offered plate with a murmur of thanks though. ]

...Do you think it could be?

[ She doesn't want to be the first to acknowledge the possibility of such things after all. ]

[zhongguo]

[A pause. He looks up and meets her eyes.]

It's possible, but I hope not.
