Night Three

Night Three The full moon hangs in the sky again. Everything is eerily calm and quiet at night.  Night three starts off surprisingly normal. Prussia and Greece wil be able to find their cameras in the sand near camp. Status Weather: Cool with clouds coming in. Electronics: No signals. The emergency radio is unable to catch anything. Music players will play static. Camera problems continue. Flashlights turn on and off on their own. Magic: Barely effective. For every seven spells cast, one will work. Animals: If you still have your pet, they will refuse to leave camp. Mr. Puffin still has not returned. ???: ??? Day 3 | Night 3 Day 4 will go up on June 8

[Iceland makes a noise that might actually be an exhausted sort of laugh.] Do you think they'll listen to us?

[bauhinia]

I have no idea. We'll have to think of a way to convince them if they don't.

[ He'd like to be encouraged by that laugh, somehow. ] How's your arm?

[volcanoes]

...Hurts. But I think it's getting better. ...I guess we can use it to convince people something's really happening. [He wobbles once and unless Hong Kong moves he's going to end up leaning against the other nation (or Special Administrative Region, whatever).]

[bauhinia]

Hey, it's okay. Careful, yeah? [ He'll steady Iceland here, because he doesn't mind being leaned on. ] Have you eaten anything all day? [ He doesn't comment on using Iceland's injury to convince everyone. If they don't believe, it's probably because they don't want to and they're not likely to help out either way. ]

[volcanoes]

[Iceland is just going to stay there, then. Hong Kong is good for leaning on, at least right now.] I had some licorice. [Possibly just out of habit.]

[bauhinia]

[ Fine by him. He will do his best to be a great spot to lean. ] That doesn't even count. Listen, you need something to eat and you need some sleep, seriously.

[volcanoes]

Licorice always counts. [It's not clear if he's joking or not. He sounds like he's on the edges of beginning to fall asleep already.] I didn't think I'd be able to eat anything else.

[bauhinia]

I don't think you can survive on licorice. [ It's just a hunch though. ]

[volcanoes]

Don't underestimate me. [Probably not, but he could survive on fish and licorice.] Everyone already had dinner, I think.

[bauhinia]

Hey, that's the last thing I'm gonna do. [ He has new respect for Iceland, not that he didn't have any before. ]

There are some leftovers from our meal. I could get you something if you wanted.

[volcanoes]

Y'don't have to. [Iceland sits up, at length.] ...You didn't have to help me out back then, you know. A lot of people would have run. [He is, in his own way, trying to say he's grateful Hong Kong didn't leave him alone with that ghost.]

[bauhinia]

I wasn't going to just leave you, Iceland. [ To go by his tone, it sounds like he thinks that would've been pretty awful. He looks over at the other. ] And the food's totally no big deal.

[volcanoes]

...I can at least help you with the food. [He's so bad at emoting properly in situations like this. On the other hand, he's back to a more normal emotional state!]

[bauhinia]

If you wanna. But I really don't mind, promise. You're like, exhausted, I know you are. [ He's giving Iceland a look, like he's not sure if he's going to collapse any second now. ]

[volcanoes]

I can stay up long enough to eat. [Iceland stands up, though his body kind of aches from sitting so still for so long.] See, I'm okay.

[bauhinia]

[ Hong Kong quickly follows suit, nodding. ] Okay, sure. As long as you're okay. [ Not that he's worrying or anything. Nope. He's cool. ]

[volcanoes]

I'm--[He hesitates. He's not okay, not totally. But...] I'll be okay.

[bauhinia]

That works too. [ No need to sugarcoat things excessively or be optimistic to the point of denial or anything. ] C'mon, food will help with that.

[ Food always helps. ]

[volcanoes]

[Food is pretty awesome. Iceland will head over to said food. Congratulations, Hong Kong, you have gotten Iceland to move from his spot.] What was for dinner, anyway?

[bauhinia]

[ It's the most awesome thing there is, basically. And wow, mission accomplished. Hong Kong would pat himself on the back if he weren't busy answering Iceland's question. ] China cooked some stuff. Chicken and rice and vegetables. I think there's some of everything left.

[ Read: he didn't completely pig out. ]

[volcanoes]

I guess we can just reheat some things, then. [Though it'll take a bit longer over a fire. Microwaves were invented for a reason.]

[bauhinia]

That shouldn't take too long. [ He gestures to the fire. ] I can handle it, easy.

[volcanoes]

[Iceland sits down next to the fire, poking it a bit just so he can say he did something. He's too tired to really object.] Alright.

[bauhinia]

[ Hong Kong says nothing about this, simply goes about getting the food ready. Just don't burn yourself somehow, Iceland...! ] You guys have your own tent, right?

[volcanoes]

...Denmark forgot it. [He slept outside when he was actually in camp. Iceland's face screws up a bit at the prospect now, though.]
