rizaia | Day One

Day One

The nations arrive on the nameless island by boat at mid-afternoon. They will be dropped off at a quiet dock and boat will leave shortly after. At the end of the dock, they will find some items that have been sent ahead for them by their bosses. Among these items are:

- Four tents
- Packs of bottled water and snacks
- A fishing net and a pair of poles
- Two pots and a pan
- Four first aid kits
- A limited supply of alcohol
- An emergency radio
- A limited supply matches/lighters
- Two maps of the island

The beach is nice; clean with white sand and a shady forest up the shore. Aside from the sounds of the waves, seagulls, and the wind blowing through the forest, the island is silent. The nations wanted to a deserted, tropical island getaway and this is certainly the right place for it. The Nations can begin to set up camp or try to explore the island. Due to the time they arrived on the island, they won't be able to get too far before night falls.

Activity
Weather: Sunny, clear, and warm with the occasional cool breeze.

Electronics: Electronic items will work fine during the day without issue. If you're desperate to update your Tw*tter account, you might get lucky and find an area on the beach with a faint signal. It will take a few tries and some patience but you will be able to update your social network of choice or make a brief phone call before you lose connection.

Magic: Magic will work normally on the island during the day.

Animals: Any animal companions brought to the island by a nation will stay close to their companion. Otherwise, they will act normally.

???: No unusual activity.

Well, let's see who needs somewhere to sleep. [Maybe Miss Belarus will need a tent!] I won't let in anyone you don't know, though, don't worry.

Like as if I'd worry about that. [He would.]

You need this thing yet? [Poking all over now trying to hit one of Lithuania's ticklish spots.]

[Jerking a bit as Poland hits one of them.]

Y-yes, can I have it?

[Jackpot.]Only if you promise we get to do something fun once this is done.

[Wiggles it around that spot again~]

[Biting back giggling, Poland you're not helping.]

A-alright, once t-the tent is--is up!

Yeeeees~ [And suddenly Poland is much more helpful now! Here's your pole Lithuania.]

[Pole get! Lithuania takes a moment to calm down before he goes back to setting up the tent. He's almost done.]

This is a vacation, did you really think I wouldn't do anything fun at all while I was here?

[Quite seriously.] Yup.

I'm not that boring, am I?

[The general structure of the tent is set up! Lithuania is putting the actual tent over it now.]

[Poland will help out with that bit. It seems hard for just one person to do.]

Do you actually want me to answer that or...

[Oh, good, this part should go quickly if Poland is helping.]

[He's just teasing Liet he knows you're not... well. Okay you are boring sometimes but it's a reasonable level of boringness.

For example that face you're making right now is totally not boring, for Poland at least. Hee hee~]

[And the tent is complete! Lithuania hammers down the tent pegs once it's all situated.]

Yay we're done!

["We're"? But Poland did help a little, so Lithuania won't complain.]

Okay Liet here's your chance to prove you're totally not boring. I'll let you pick what we do next. [Poland is such a generous soul.]

Er-- [He wasn't expecting that. Going through what each of them brought in his mind...] You brought a volleyball, didn't you?

[Good choice Liet.] See? you're not that boring after all.

I already knew that. Where'd you put your things?

I threw them over there. [Hops over to get his bag~]

[Following Poland, though he glances back at the tent once just to make sure it looks secure, which it does.]

[Goes to pull out his volleyball, but it's kinda sticky for some reason.]

Uh oh.

Uh oh? [Looking over Poland ~~because he's short~~ at the volleyball.] Did something spill?

My popsicles melted!

Popsicles--Poland, you could have put them in my cooler. Quick, dump out your bag before everything in it is ruined.
