Night One

After an excited day, night falls on the island. The beach is surprisingly bright at night thanks to the full moon above. As it was during the day, the island is very quiet at night and sounds consist of calming waves, soothing wind, chirping insects, and birds in the forest.

Status
Weather: Cool with clear skies and a light breeze.

Electronics: Overall, electronics function normally. Unlike during the day, Nations will be completely unable to catch any signals. Sorry, you'll have to update your F*cebook another time. Things of note:

Hong Kong's MP3 player will freeze when he tries to listen to it. Turning it off and then back on will correct the issue.

The batteries in Cuba and Latvia's flashlights will die despite the fact they had new batteries in them. They will have to replace the batteries to get the flashlights to work again.

Contrary to everyone else's wireless troubles, Iceland will be the only nation with any sort of signal on his cell phone. He will not have any problems with his phone.

Magic: Magic is very effective tonight, some times too effective. It must be the work of the full moon.

Animals: Pets will stay close to their owners but otherwise act normally.

Lithuania visits the spring at night. Despite his experience, anyone who visits the spring after this will notice nothing out of the ordinary.

A voice speaks to Italy.

Iceland and Hong Kong go to the mansion but are unable to explore further. The United Nations is notified and sends a reminder out. Iceland is the only one able to receive it.

Germany, China, Netherlands, Seychelles, and Japan hear things in the middle of the night.

Eh? [Grabbing some beer even as he begins to look more concerned.] I heard someone calling me while I was out by the spring.

I didn't hear anything.

Maybe it was just like the ocean or something in the woods making noise.

If it just happened once, sure, but I heard my name twice. And this--[He waves the unopened bottle of beer before opening it with the Swiss army knife he brought]--is the first thing I've had to drink today that wasn't water.

Your brain must be totally fried from being in the sun all day. [Pats his head patronizingly] You should have brought a hat.

[Rolling his eyes and taking a drink.]

Maybe I was just hearing things. I guess it could have been some sort of bird.

Well, it could have been one other thing I guess.

[Gestures for Lithuania to move in closer.]

[...Leaning in?]

[And guess who jumps in right behind them?]

[You know considering he was just about to shout in Lithuania's ear himself, Poland totally wasn't prepared for that.]

Oh my freaking god! [Flail!]

[Jerking and looking back at Prussia.]

Kesesesese~ West went out walking with someone, and Austria is with his man-wife so I can't go anywhere near him. Be grateful that I've decided to grace you with my awesome presence and include me in your conversation, damn it!

[Rubs his ear that Prussia brutalized with his shrieking. Seriously hate you right now.]

[Well, Poland doesn't need to convince Lithuania to go along with that story.]

I guess it would only be fair to include him, since he was part of the stories.

[Bursts out laughing once Prussia is gone. That was almost as good as the original.]

That was kind of mean, Lenkija. [But he is grinning.] We could have at least asked if he heard anyone calling me.

[He's just going to sulk in his tent. Stupid Poland and Lithuania cramping his swag.

[Nyeh~ that's what you get Prussia.]

He'll be fine in like an hour or whatever, you know how massive his ego is. It'll comeback even stronger and more obnoxious than it was previously.

Don't you think that if someone was calling for you they totally would have come to bug you by now?

That's what's odd about it. [He takes another drink and then smiles a bit, trying to lighten the mood.] Maybe it was a ghost.

With your luck, the whole island is probably haunted~

[Wiggles his fingers in Lithuania's face, making ominous oooooh sounds~]

I'm sure. [That would be ridiculous, of course.] We're going to wake up tomorrow and there'll be something written in blood on the sand telling us to leave.

[Totally ridiculous.]

I'd want us to leave too. We brought Russia, America and Prussia with us.

It's not fair to group Prussia and America with Russia.

[A little belatedly looking around to make sure Russia isn't directly behind them or anything.]
