rizaia | Day One

Day One

The nations arrive on the nameless island by boat at mid-afternoon. They will be dropped off at a quiet dock and boat will leave shortly after. At the end of the dock, they will find some items that have been sent ahead for them by their bosses. Among these items are:

- Four tents
- Packs of bottled water and snacks
- A fishing net and a pair of poles
- Two pots and a pan
- Four first aid kits
- A limited supply of alcohol
- An emergency radio
- A limited supply matches/lighters
- Two maps of the island

The beach is nice; clean with white sand and a shady forest up the shore. Aside from the sounds of the waves, seagulls, and the wind blowing through the forest, the island is silent. The nations wanted to a deserted, tropical island getaway and this is certainly the right place for it. The Nations can begin to set up camp or try to explore the island. Due to the time they arrived on the island, they won't be able to get too far before night falls.

Activity
Weather: Sunny, clear, and warm with the occasional cool breeze.

Electronics: Electronic items will work fine during the day without issue. If you're desperate to update your Tw*tter account, you might get lucky and find an area on the beach with a faint signal. It will take a few tries and some patience but you will be able to update your social network of choice or make a brief phone call before you lose connection.

Magic: Magic will work normally on the island during the day.

Animals: Any animal companions brought to the island by a nation will stay close to their companion. Otherwise, they will act normally.

???: No unusual activity.

[What could you possibly need all those photos for? Lithuania puts down the tent supplies in a nice clean flat area near the woods, where a tent could conceivably be placed.]

First, that marriage thing is ridiculous. Second, this isn't the Baltic Sea. If you'd fallen in we'd have had to fish you out.

[He needs to adequately document this trip for his powerpoint presentation for Estonia to watch, since he's totally missing out.]

Wow this tent is bigger than I thought it would be.

We certainly won't have to worry about space. [Starting to set it up. He is so used to Poland not helping out with stuff like this he doesn't really notice Poland is just watching.] I think the instructions said it was for eleven?

[Picking up a pole to wave it around.]

That's a lot of tent for two people. Sweet! [Yup. This is totally just our tent Liet.]

[Letting Poland swing the pole around much like a parent allows a child to bang on pots and pans so they don't do something even more destructive.]

It's not just for us.

[Poking Lithuania in the side with the pole.]

Why not? I'm totally not sleeping in a tent with any strangers Liet, like no way!

[Swatting the pole.]

We don't have to share with strangers, but Latvia and Miss Ukraine need somewhere to sleep, too, don't they?

Oh yeah. [At least he thought of one other person than himself this time. That's not that bad.]

Well that's okay, but just them.

Well, let's see who needs somewhere to sleep. [Maybe Miss Belarus will need a tent!] I won't let in anyone you don't know, though, don't worry.

Like as if I'd worry about that. [He would.]

You need this thing yet? [Poking all over now trying to hit one of Lithuania's ticklish spots.]

[Jerking a bit as Poland hits one of them.]

Y-yes, can I have it?

[Jackpot.]Only if you promise we get to do something fun once this is done.

[Wiggles it around that spot again~]

[Biting back giggling, Poland you're not helping.]

A-alright, once t-the tent is--is up!

Yeeeees~ [And suddenly Poland is much more helpful now! Here's your pole Lithuania.]

[Pole get! Lithuania takes a moment to calm down before he goes back to setting up the tent. He's almost done.]

This is a vacation, did you really think I wouldn't do anything fun at all while I was here?

[Quite seriously.] Yup.

I'm not that boring, am I?

[The general structure of the tent is set up! Lithuania is putting the actual tent over it now.]

[Poland will help out with that bit. It seems hard for just one person to do.]

[Oh, good, this part should go quickly if Poland is helping.]

For example that face you're making right now is totally not boring, for Poland at least. Hee hee~]
