Day Two

Day Two The sun begins to rise and cool morning comes. Early in the morning, there is a low mist coming from the forest but it isn't anything strange considering the environment. However, combined with how quiet it is. . . it does look kind of creepy. Fortunately, as the day goes on, it gets warmer and brighter. The mist dissipates and the birds begin to call out. The first few people to wake up might notice some things have moved around while they were asleep. The pots and pans that were left outside have been moved several feet away. Several bottles of water are missing from the cases and can be found scattered around the sand. The spring is calm and peaceful. It is quiet but not too quiet like it was last night. Status Weather: Sunny, clear, and very warm with a light breeze. Electronics: It is impossible to get any sort of reception on the beach. Any nation will a cell phone will wake up to find a message from the United Nations. Some nations might receive the same message more than once. It looks like someone tried to send the message multiple times to make sure it went through. Message: "do not make him angry again" Magic: Magic is not always effective today. For every five times you cast a spell, it might not work once. Otherwise, everything is normal. Animals: Normal on the beach. Any pets that go into the woods will stay close to their owners. Pets will become upset around the spring and staying around too long will result in the pets leaving for the beach. ???: Several bottles of water are missing from camp. They can be found scattered in the sand. The entrance to Tent Four was left open over night. The pans and pots have been moved. Day Two | Night Two Day 3 will go up 6 June

Yeah, I slept okay.

[In fact he seems a lot less cranky than last night]

How about you?

[vytis]

Oh, fine. It seems like someone made a mess last night, though.

[balzams]

Gee, I wonder who...

[He not so subtly glares over at Prussia's tent]

So should we clean it up or wait for someone else? We said we'd go to the spring this morning, right?

[vytis]

I don't think it was him; he would have taken credit for it when he was awake. And leaving water bottles everywhere is a really odd joke, you know? I don't want anyone to trip on them...

[balzams]

[Latvia just shrugs]

It's not like his pranks make sense, but who else do you think would have done it?

[vytis]

[Lithuania shrugs.] I'm not sure, but we can't blame Prussia without any proof, either.

[balzams]

[Huff]

Fine...

I guess you should just tell people to clear up after themselves or something.

[vytis]

Would anyone actually do it, though? [Water bottles gathered!]

[balzams]

Heh, I guess you're right.

Why don't we ditch the others then and look around the island some more? Leave them to take care of their own mess?

Seriously, when was the last time you were on a tropical island?

[For some reason he seems quite friendly with Lithuania since the trip started]

[vytis]

[Lithuania glances back at the tent, and it's pretty clear he is thinking about the fit Poland will have if Lithuania isn't there when he wakes up. But...]

I suppose we could do a little exploring.

[balzams]

[Alright!]

I want you to show me the spring you found last night, maybe we could explore a bit of the forest while we're at it.

[vytis]

I'm sure the spring isn't really that interesting... [Really he doesn't want to freak Latvia out or anything.]

[balzams]

Really...?

I mean, it's not like we come to places like this very often.

Can we take a walk at least?

[Most likely he just doesn't want to be in the same place as Prussia for too long]

[vytis]

...Sure, a walk wouldn't hurt. If you want to go to the spring, we can. Or we could go over there and take a look at the whole island. [Looking over at the cliffs.]

[balzams]

Oh! That would be good!

My secretary asked me to take some photos for him. I wasn't going to [Or he was going to take pictures of ridiculous things] but I guess he deserves at least one nice one.

[vytis]

[Lithuania smiles and grabs a couple of the water bottles he'd just finished putting away.] Let's head up the cliffs, then.

[balzams]

Right! Just let me get my things!

[He dives back into his tent, getting his rucksack and the things he wanted to take together, including his phone, insect repellant, some rations that had been provided and his own bottle of water. When he's ready he crawls back out of the tent with the bag on his back]

[vytis]

[Lithuania smiles at Latvia's eagerness.]

Okay, let's go.

[He starts heading out toward the cliffs.]

[balzams]

[Latvia eagerly follows along, stepping quickly in order to keep up]

Do you think they'll be hard to climb?

[vytis]

[Lithuania looks up at it as they approach.] I don't think it looks too difficult. We can probably find somewhere halfway up to take a break if we need to.

[balzams]

[He looks up a little uneasily]

If I fall off you'll catch me, right?

[vytis]

You won't fall. But I'll catch you, don't worry. [As long as he's not distracted...]

[balzams]

[He smiles, still a little nervous]

Should you go first or should I?

[vytis]

You go up first. [He can't catch Latvia if Latvia is behind him.]

[balzams]

O-okay...

[He stares up the cliff face for a moment before taking hold of the closest rock he can find and starts to climb]
