Night Three

Night Three The full moon hangs in the sky again. Everything is eerily calm and quiet at night.  Night three starts off surprisingly normal. Prussia and Greece wil be able to find their cameras in the sand near camp. Status Weather: Cool with clouds coming in. Electronics: No signals. The emergency radio is unable to catch anything. Music players will play static. Camera problems continue. Flashlights turn on and off on their own. Magic: Barely effective. For every seven spells cast, one will work. Animals: If you still have your pet, they will refuse to leave camp. Mr. Puffin still has not returned. ???: ??? Day 3 | Night 3 Day 4 will go up on June 8

[You know what's the worst? Sudden cravings in the middle of the night. Kiwi rummages through the big backpack that the brunet brought to the island, and after a bit of searching, crawls out of the tent with a small box and find a campfire to stir and bring back to life enough to use it as light since the flashlight is rather useless for that. And then the small stock of vegemite that the island nation brought to this island will be eaten reverently - after all it will be the last for two more days. Or for at least two more days.

YOu can have your character react to any part of those actions.]

[In case anyone thought Iceland was exaggerating about not moving from his spot, nope. He is still sitting in the sand exactly where he was when he got back. He's watching the ocean, actually.]

[proud_and_prussian]

[Really Iceland? The whole day? Prussia's not worried about him, but the more people that are alive, the bigger the group, and the bigger the group, the safer they'll be. ]

...Hey. You might wanna come back into the tent. Shit tends to happen at night.

[volcanoes]

[Do you see the look Iceland is giving you? It is the most witheringly sarcastic face he can manage.]

I know.

[proud_and_prussian]

[He shrugs. ]

Just saying. You haven't budged from here since morning.

...where's that pet bird of yours? The one with the beak from Hell?

[volcanoes]

Shut up. [His voice, mostly furious in a smoldering sort of way not common out of Iceland, cracks partway through that short demand.]

[proud_and_prussian]

[Prussia stops short of delivering a cutting retort back when he spots Iceland's arm and the bandage. Yes, that missing chunk is disturbing.]

Something happen?

[volcanoes]

A--[He hesitates, still not sure how to really describe it.]--thing. A thing attacked me.

[Iceland looks back out at the ocean.]

[proud_and_prussian]

Hmm.

[He takes a seat near Iceland and looks at him, curious and maybe, just maybe, concerned. Pets are serious topics, after all.]

It got your puffin?

[bauhinia]

[ Someone's going to show up to sit down next to him. ]

Hey. Still out here?

[volcanoes]

[Iceland doesn't move his eyes from the ocean. Rather, he looks like he would consider it too much effort.]

Mmhmm. Did you sleep?

[bauhinia]

Yeah, I did. Did you? [ He feels like he knows the answer to this and it isn't good. ]

[volcanoes]

No.

[Iceland, obviously, is even shorter than usual with his responses. He really hasn't moved from this spot since he got back.]

[bauhinia]

Are you thinking about doing that sometime soon? [ His tone is ligt and as nonthreatening as possible. ]

[volcanoes]

I'll sleep when I'm tired. I'm not yet.

[It's halfway between being a lie and not being one--Iceland is exhausted, but sleep feels so far away from him that he doesn't think he's tired, exactly. It's not the same thing.]

[bauhinia]

If you're not tired now, I dunno when you're gonna be. [ He crosses his legs and leans back on his palms. ]

FOREST???

[In a completely unforeseeable turn of events, Austria has yet to make it to the island's mansion. Actually Austria's not even entirely sure which direction he came from, let alone which direction the mansion is in. He didn't think to bring a flashlight and it's much too dark to see the path with just the light from his cellphone screen. He's not even sure he's on the path anymore, the way branches are cracking under the soles of his boots and vines occasionally brushing against his face.

Common sense would dictate he should simply stay put until Hungary or Germany or someone else eventually realized he was missing. He neglected to inform anyone of his initial departure, but he had run into Latvia earlier in the day and briefly mentioned his intentions to walk to the mansion.

Surely someone would come.]

( Austria will smell a strong, floral smell. It smells like a perfume-- Plumeria, to be exact.

If he follows it, he will eventually find a woman in white with long black hair walking down the path towards the mansion. )

[metronomelody]

[The floral scent hits Austria quite suddenly, a welcome departure from the earthy scent of the forest. Turning around, he'll make his way towards it eventually coming across the woman.

Straightening up to carry himself as if he hadn't just been wandering around in the dark lost, he politely greets her.]

Ah, good evening.

[diejoubu]

( She does not hear them. Instead, she keeps walking forward. )

[metronomelody]

[Austria hasn't had human interaction in hours so he's not the slightest bit deterred by her lack of response.]

Are you one of the island's owners, miss? I'm Mr. Austria one of the individuals you allowed to stay here for the week.

[federalism]

Austria!

[He can't see the other nation, but he heard his voice.]

Stay where you are! [And keep talking so they can find you.] Who are you talking to?

[siesta]

[have a scared italy glued to you germany.]

M-maybe h-he's back at the camp... [he knows it's not true but he'd like to go back asap.]

[metronomelody]

[Hearing his name, Austria turns his head towards Germany's voice.] If you'll allow me one moment please, miss.

Germany! [It's about time someone came for him. Honestly he's been waiting for hours, one expected at least Germany to be more punctual about his search parties.]

I'm over this way.

the camp

[ Following the realisation today that they're all on a haunted island with spirits with a taste for devouring birds and chunks of nation's arms and lord knows what else, Portugal is feeling a little reluctant to go to bed.

She's been pacing a lot, but for now at least she's sitting down outside tent 4, although she's still fidgety. Feeling like a sitting duck is not something that puts her in a good mood. ]
